You’ve organized the beach weekend, the sleeping arrangements, and the committee responsible for buying snacks. At some point, the bride deserves an activity that doesn’t require everybody to locate their shoes again.
Private bachelorette party entertainment in Myrtle Beach can bring the evening’s main attraction to your group. A comedy magic show at a suitable beach house, condo, or private venue gives everyone something to enjoy after dinner. You supply the company. I supply the reason nobody trusts the cards.
I’m Timothy Starnes, a Charlotte-based magician who travels for adult celebrations, including Myrtle Beach bachelorette weekends. I’m best known for my touring comedy séance, Timothy Starnes & His Many Night Visitors, and I’m also a trained comedy and bar magician. Start with the bachelorette show and booking information, then send me the actual address and date so we can discuss the trip.
Give your beach-house night in a clear purpose
A night in works best when the group knows what it is coming back for. Decide whether you want a casual dinner with a magic station or an intimate seated show that everyone enjoys together.
At a station, guests can finish conversations and come over for comedy close-up magic, con games, bar bets, and dice magic. It gives the party a gathering place. I work from that station rather than moving through the property interrupting individual groups.
For a shared haunted-parlor evening, reserve two hours for the comedy séance. I suggest about 10–15 guests, or as many as the dining table can comfortably accommodate. The show combines spirit magic, storytelling, dark comedy, and participation. It is theatrical entertainment, not a mediumship reading.
All performances are for adults 18 and up. Tell me about the bride’s taste in humor and whether she enjoys attention. “Bachelorette” tells me the occasion. It doesn’t tell me her personality.
Confirm the property permits your plans
Before reserving entertainment, ask the host, property manager, hotel, or venue about your specific gathering. A property’s overnight capacity is not the same thing as permission to hold an event or invite additional visitors.
Confirm the guest count, outside-entertainer permission, parking arrangements, quiet hours, and any rules for common areas. If your accommodation won’t permit the plans, consider an approved private event space. Send its details before committing to the performance setup.
A clear description helps: a private adult group, the proposed performance period, and the room you intend to use. The vacation-rental entertainment checklist covers the questions to settle with your host.
Choose the room before choosing the ocean view
A beautiful deck can be an awkward place for close-up magic. Wind, glare, nearby music, and people moving between the beach and the house can make a small performance difficult to follow. Send photos of the actual space and have a suitable indoor option agreed in advance.
For my working area, I ask for three chairs and a table, or a coffee table with ample audience seating in front and to the sides. Keep the performance surface clear of dinner plates and wet belongings. Guests need a view of what is happening, not just the back of the most enthusiastic bridesmaid.
I don’t use a sound system. A quiet living or dining area can be a better starting point than a space beside loud speakers. For a séance, check the dining arrangement itself: a listing that sleeps twelve might not have a table where twelve can comfortably see the show.
Leave a buffer after the beach and before the show
Work backward from any firm evening plans. Allow time for the group to return, change, eat, and settle in before a seated performance. Coordinate food delivery or catering separately so the doorbell doesn’t become the most active spirit in the room.
An example night-in sequence is beach time, a generous return-and-change window, dinner, then the performance and dessert. If you intend to go out afterward, share that departure time before choosing the show. A two-hour séance needs its complete window; it should not depend on everyone eating at a miraculous speed.
Also share building access, stairs or elevators, parking, and the name of the person who will be available when I arrive. We’ll confirm arrival and setup timing before the event.

Parties outside the Charlotte, NC area have a two-hour minimum. Contact me for a personalized quote that accounts for your event and confirms any travel costs. A two-hour séance fits that minimum; it is not an extra two hours added to the show.
Text Tim at 704-698-7286 with your date, property address, adult guest count, preferred show, and schedule. Include confirmation that the venue permits the gathering. I travel from Charlotte, so the exact location and timing matter.
Bring the bride, her favorite people, and an evening they can actually spend together. I’ll bring the questionable company. It requires considerably less sunscreen.
